"Nature is a meditation and an expression of the Sacred and Divine, the many faces of women of many cultures and spiritual practices magnifies this principle of holiness and light."

Francesca Roccaforte's healing vision of community, care, serenity, joy, beauty, light and divine justice is a daily practice and devotion through the eye of the camera lens. Photography is the medium that is both magical and mystical and crystallizes forms, light, darkness and color. The digital media process adds an otherworldly dimension to this process with its required patience and stillness.

Francesca is an award winning photographer, documentary filmmaker, writer/poet, educator, organizer and community activist. She has earned several degrees and certificates in Visual Communications in Education (M.S., B.A.) Digital Media and Television Production (A.A.). Her work has been published, televised and screened at film and video festivals. She currently is working on several books of photography and poetry. Francesca freelances, teaches privately and is available for workshops and lectures on photography, video and spirituality.
